The user data is stored in a file called HSTracker.dat (USR with versions before 1.5) - the file is normally located in the same folder as the HSTracker application itself.

- ~/Documents/hstracker-backup.zip - HSTracker user data backup
- ~/Documents/hstracker-attachments/ - used when viewing file attachments
- /Applications/HSTracker/HSTValueLists.dat – contains save searches and other custom popup menus
- ~/Library/Preferences/hstracker.prefs.fp7 - user preferences
- /Library/FileMaker Preferences/HSTracker Prefs - database preferences
- /Library/Scripts/Folder Action Scripts/HSTrackerARDWatch.scpt - Finder folder action for automated ARD report collection
You should make regular backups of your data files.
